A long-missing architectural detail has returned to downtown Fort Worth. Originally part of a historic building that became Barber’s Book Store in 1925, the distinctive finial—lost sometime in the 1960s—has now been faithfully restored.
Thanks to the expert craftsmanship of FLX Technologies and the support of Brian from Barber’s Book Store, a hand-crafted aluminum replica with an aged patina has taken its place atop the entrance once again, reconnecting the present with the city's storied past. Design by Gregory Beck.
